Rural Ambassador Award

2022 Rural Ambassador

Holly Freeman
Mullewa’s 2022 Rural Ambassador is Holly Freeman.
Holly has exhibited in the Mullewa Show since she was in playgroup and has been volunteering since high school with setting up the pavilion, stewarding and generally helping around the show office. Most of you will know Holly as the Manager of the Mullewa Community Resource Centre where she has brought us innovations such as Tech Hub, Kids Create and a reliable flow of barista coffee. We are delighted that Holly has agreed to represent Mullewa and wish her every success.
The Rural Ambassador Judging and Dinner will be hosted by North Midlands Agricultural Society in Carnamah on Saturday 16th July. Please save the date and join us to support Holly.

Rural Ambassador Award

The Rural Ambassador Competition is a National Competition aimed at young rural adults who have a passion for living and working in rural communities.

The competition aims to discover the next generation of rural leaders who have the desire to represent and promote their community, their region and their state. Successful entrants are given the opportunity to meet and network with likeminded representatives from around the state, around the country and around the Commonwealth. You will meet state and federal decision makers and leaders in agriculture and education, be able to input your point of view, ask the hard questions and make important contacts.

You do not have to be a ‘university graduate’, you just need to have the desire to stand up for Rural Australia, have a basic agricultural and rural knowledge, and be prepared to ‘have a go’. You will experience some tough competition, make lifelong friends and have a damn good time.

So if this sounds like you, contact Mullewa District Agricultural Society Secretary for details – P.O. Box 92 MULLEWA WA 6630 or
